Steamboat Condo Sales in November and December 2014

The holiday season is one of the busiest times of the year in Steamboat Springs as visitors come to spend time with family and friends at Steamboat’s world-class resort.  I’ve had a few recent conversations with property managers who say their properties are sold out for extended periods of time, and not just a day here and there like they’ve seen the past several years.  It’s good to see guests back in town enjoying the snow!

In November and December,  there were 73 condo and town homes sales in Steamboat Springs.  The average condo/townhouse sold for $484,000, which included a few lower priced Stagecoach properties and  four One Steamboat Place residences that sold between $1.4M-$1.9M. In addition to the One Steamboat Place sales, Trappeurs Crossing had 6 sales and  Sunray Meadows and the Villas had 4 each.

We don’t have year-end figures yet, but through November median condo sales prices increased 9% this year and median single family home prices increased 14%.
