Steamboat Springs condos sales in July 2011 ranged from a bank-owned Shadow Run that sold for $90,000 to a prime ski-in, ski-out Edgemont condos which sold for $2,350,000.
35% were bank-owned (see below) and many of the bank owned condos were not in prime condition. (The Eagle Ridge Townhome was basically a shell stripped down to the studs which is why the price was so low.)
Six of the Steamboat condos sold were financed and 8 buyers paid cash, so depending on the development, buyers were able to obtain traditional financing.
Ski-in, ski-out Steamboat condos command the highest prices. All the sales over $1,000,000 were ski in/out properties.
