The remaining developer-owned inventory at Trailhead Lodge Condos is scheduled for a public trustee sale on September 7, 2011. Trailhead Lodge, which is part of the Wildhorse Meadows planned community, has its own gondola linking the luxury condos to the Steamboat base area.
Trailhead has 86 condos ranging from 461-2,197 sq ft, and 27 of them are already sold. That leaves 59 luxury condominiums ranging from studios to three bedrooms that will be purchased next week by an investor. Once the remaining condos are sold, expect the Trailhead Lodge condos to come back on the market at a market rate price.
The condos at Trailhead Lodge were once priced at $465,000-$2.5M. Buyers originally purchased 70% of the condos (at those prices!) at the selection event but many of them never closed because of the economy.
